NoqtaShop is an e-commerce platform made by people who sell here. Everything on it starts from a question the global platforms answer badly: what does a merchant in Amman actually need on the day they open?
The answer turned out to be less about features and more about defaults. Get the currency, the language and the payment habits right, and most of the friction disappears before a merchant ever notices it was there.
What we build around
The dinar has three decimals, and we use all of them
A platform that stores money in two decimal places cannot price in Jordanian dinar without rounding, and rounding a currency you are selling in is not a small bug — it shows up in every invoice, every refund and every report. Prices, tax, shipping and refunds are calculated to the fils throughout.
Your store’s language runs all the way through
Arabic, English and French, and the one you pick is not a translation layer over an English original. Right-to-left is built into the storefront rather than mirrored onto it, so an Arabic store is a normal store. Order emails, invoices, checkout and search all follow the language you chose, and the search understands Arabic synonyms rather than matching characters.
Cash on delivery is a first-class payment method
Most orders in this market are still paid at the door. That is treated as a real payment flow with its own reconciliation, not as a checkbox bolted onto a card checkout — and it works on every plan, with no payment-provider account required.
We take no commission
We charge a subscription and nothing else. There is no take-rate, no per-order fee and no percentage of your sales anywhere in the product, which means our incentive is to keep you long enough to be worth the subscription rather than to grow a cut. When you connect a payment provider for cards, you connect your own account and they bill you directly.
