Find an answer in the help centre

Open the article for the screen you are on with the “?”, search the help centre from the Help menu without leaving your work, or browse every topic.

Last updated

Get an answer without leaving the screen you are stuck on. Open the article for that screen with the “?” beside its title, search every article from the Help menu in the console’s top bar, or browse the help centre on noqtashop.com. Articles always open in a new tab, so whatever you were halfway through stays exactly where it was.

The “?” beside a page title

Most console screens have a small “?” in a circle beside their title. It opens the article that explains that screen, in a new tab.

The “?” sits right beside the title. On the Support page it opens the article about opening a ticket.
  • Point at the “?” to see which article it opens, for example Help: Open a support ticket (opens in a new tab).
  • You also find it beside a ticket’s subject, in the Storefront Studio’s top bar, on an order and on a product’s page. On Settings, it opens the article for the tab you are on.
  • The “?” only appears where an article explains the screen. If you do not see one, search from the Help menu instead.
  • The article opens in your console’s language: Arabic in Arabic, English in English.

Note

The help centre is written in English and Arabic. If your console is in French, articles open in English, and the Help menu says so: The help centre is written in English and Arabic.

The Help menu opens from Help, the question-mark button in the top bar, beside the bell. It is on every screen of the console, so you can search without leaving the page you are on.

Searching for “domain” from the Dashboard, opening an article in a new tab, and going on to Support
  1. In the top bar, select Help, the question mark beside the bell. The Help menu opens with the cursor already in the search box.
Before you type, the menu holds the search box and two links.
  1. Type a word or a short question, for example domain.
  2. Wait a moment. The menu says Searching…, then matching articles appear under the box and update as you type.
Each result shows the article’s title, its topic in green and a line from the article. The arrow means it opens in a new tab.
  1. Select an article. It opens in a new tab, and the menu closes.
The menu opens over whatever you are doing. Nothing on the page changes while you search or read.

How the search works:

WhatHow it behaves
When it startsAfter two letters. Up to 100 characters are searched.
What it searchesThe title, summary, keywords, headings and text of every article.
Partial wordsA word matches from its start, so refu already finds articles about refunds.
How many resultsUp to eight, the best match first.
LanguageArabic articles in an Arabic console, English ones otherwise.
KeyboardThe arrow keys move between the box, the results and the two links. Escape closes the menu.

Selecting anywhere outside the menu also closes it. What you typed is still there the next time you open it.

Browse the help centre

To look around rather than search, open the help centre itself on noqtashop.com:

  • in the console, open the Help menu and select Browse the help centre. It opens in a new tab, in Arabic if your console is in Arabic.
  • on noqtashop.com, select Help in the header or Help centre in the footer.

The help centre’s front page asks How can we help? and has a search box. Under it, Start here lists the first steps, and Browse by topic shows every topic with its first three articles and See all articles.

Every article page has the same parts:

  • the plan the feature needs, when it needs one, for example Growth and up,
  • Last updated, the date the article last changed,
  • On this page, a list of its sections, and In this topic, the other articles in its topic,
  • Was this helpful?, Related articles, Previous and Next, and Still stuck? at the end.

The search box on the website works like the one in the console. Type at least two characters and press Enter. The results page lists up to 20 matching articles, the best match first, and follows your typing if you change the words there.

Need help? on the pricing and sign-up pages

If you have not created your store yet, you meet the help centre on noqtashop.com itself. The pricing page and the sign-up form each carry a quiet line that starts with Need help? and names the article that explains the page.

On the pricing page the line sits under the introduction, before the plan cards.
  • On the pricing page, the article opens in the same tab. Use your browser’s Back button to return to the plans.
  • On the sign-up form, the line sits under the form on every step, and the article opens in a new tab. Everything you have typed into the form stays as it is.
On the sign-up form the line sits under the Continue button and opens in a new tab.

The line appears only when an article explains that page. If the help centre cannot be reached, the line does not appear and the page works as usual.

When nothing matches

When no article matches what you typed, the Help menu says No matching articles.

Nothing matched these words. The two links underneath still work.

Try again with different words:

  • Use fewer words. One key word, such as refund or stock, finds more than a whole sentence.
  • Use the name of the screen or button as the console shows it, for example Shipping rates or Mark delivered.
  • Try another word for the same thing, for example delivery instead of shipping, or discount code instead of coupon.

Tip

The website’s results page gives the same advice when nothing matches: Try fewer words, or the name of the screen you are on in your console. Its Browse all topics button takes you back to every topic.

If nothing helps, write to us. See Write to us when no article helps.

When the search cannot reach the help centre

If the console cannot reach the help centre, the Help menu says Could not search the help centre. Try again. This usually means your connection dropped, or the help centre is briefly unavailable.

The search failed, not your words. Change the text a little to search again.
  1. Check that you are online.
  2. Add or remove a letter in the search box. The search runs again a moment later.
  3. If it still fails, select Browse the help centre or Contact support. Both keep working.

While the help centre cannot be reached, the “?” beside page titles also disappears. It comes back by itself: the console asks again after a short wait, the next time you move to another screen. On noqtashop.com, a help page that cannot load says We could not load this page. with a Try again button.

Was this helpful?

At the end of every article, Was this helpful? asks for one answer. Select Yes or No.

  • After Yes, the box says Thanks for letting us know.
  • After No, it says Thanks. We use these answers to decide which articles to improve first.
  • If your answer could not be sent, it says Could not send your answer. Try again. Select the button again.

Your answer is anonymous, and nothing is saved in your browser. If you open the article again later, it asks again, but answering twice in one day counts once. There is no box for comments: to tell us what an article is missing, open a ticket.

Write to us when no article helps

If no article answers your question, write to us. From the console:

  1. In the top bar, open the Help menu and select Contact support. The Support page opens.
  2. Select Open a ticket and describe the problem.

From an article on noqtashop.com, use the Still stuck? box at the end:

  • If you are signed in to your console in the same browser, the box offers Open a ticket. It opens the new-ticket form in your console in a new tab, and the message starts with a line naming the article, so we can see what you have already read. See opening a ticket from a help article.
  • Otherwise, the box offers Contact support, which opens the contact form with Help with my store already chosen. If you do have a store, use the Already have a store? Open a ticket from your console link in the same box instead.

Next, see Open a support ticket for every field of the form, or Find your way around the console to learn where everything else is.
