Generate your storefront with AI

Describe your store and let AI prepare a design and text in the preview, then keep it, edit it or undo it before you publish.

Available on the Growth plan and up

Last updated

Describe your store in a few sentences and AI designs the storefront and writes its text for you, right in the Studio’s preview. It changes only what it decides and keeps everything else as you left it. You can keep the result, change any part of it, or undo it, and nothing reaches customers until you publish.

AI storefront generation is on Growth and up. See which plan includes what.

What AI storefront generation changes

A generation sets a new look and writes new text in one go, and leaves the rest of your design alone, including changes you have not saved yet.

What happens
Chosen for your storeThe theme preset, light or dark, the brand and accent colours, the typeface, the density, the corners, the hero height, the About section’s height, the four trust badge icons and the order of your homepage sections.
Written for your storeThe hero headline, subheading and two button labels; the About section’s eyebrow, title, text and button label; the four trust badges and their one-line subtitles; the reviews heading; the newsletter title and text; and one to three announcements. They are written in your store’s default language and translated into its other languages. The AI can leave out any it cannot write well.
Kept as it is on screenEverything else: the neutral tint, heading face and body face, type scale, numerals, section rhythm, shadows, buttons, the product card, logo position, logo display and logo size, hero image focus, the header and footer switches, motion, your WhatsApp number, your hero and About photos and their recent-image lists, category tiles, the low stock warning and auto-flip photos.
Your homepage sectionsThe AI’s order applies, and every section you hid stays hidden. The Collection rail, which the AI does not arrange, keeps its place just after the section it followed.
Text the AI does not writeKept. The AI never writes the hero’s Eyebrow, the short line above the headline, so yours stays. Any text it left out stays too, and so does every text of a language whose translation did not come back. Announcements are replaced only in the languages the AI wrote some for.

Your products, categories, prices and everything outside the Studio are never touched.

The generation is saved as your draft as soon as it is ready: the AI’s choices and text laid over your last saved draft. It is never published for you. On screen, the Studio lays the same choices over what you had in front of you, so edits you had not saved are still there.

Tip

You do not need to save before you generate: unsaved edits stay on screen. After you have reviewed the result, click Save draft or Publish, so the draft we keep matches exactly what you see.

Describe your store: what makes a good description

  1. In the Studio’s top bar, click Generate with AI.
The dialog: one required description, one optional category, and tips on what to include
  1. In Describe your store, write a few sentences about your store.
  2. If you like, type the kind of store in Category (optional), for example Fashion.
Layal’s description names what it sells, where it is made, who it is for and the feeling it wants
FieldRequiredWhat to write
Describe your storeYes. Generate with AI stays greyed out until you type something. What you sell, your style (luxury, minimal, bold, warm, playful…), who it is for, and what makes you different.
Category (optional)NoOne or two words for the kind of store, such as Fashion, Fragrance or Grocery.

The more specific the description, the better the result. Compare:

  • Clothes for women. Too thin: the AI has to guess the style, the customer and the tone.
  • A Jordanian boutique for linen dresses, abayas and easy knitwear, designed in Abdoun and made in small runs, for women who want calm, elegant pieces for Eid and every day. This is Layal Boutique’s description. It names the products, the place, the customer and the mood, so the colours, the typeface and every headline can follow from it.

The AI also reads your store’s name and the names of your categories and products, so it designs around what you really sell. If you can, add a few products and categories before you generate. Organise products into categories

  1. Click Generate with AI once. A Working with AI… panel covers the Studio, with the line This can take a few minutes. Keep this tab open.
The panel stays until the new design is ready, which can take a few minutes

The panel stays until the design is ready. That can take a few minutes, and longer when your store sells in several languages, because the text is translated as well. A generation has up to six minutes: if it is not finished by then, it is stopped and its credit is returned.

Keep the Studio open until the panel closes. If you reload or leave the page while it works, the generation carries on without you: when it finishes, it is saved as your draft and uses its credit. Open the Studio again in the same browser tab and the new design lands on screen, with Your AI storefront finished while you were away. It is on screen now. Undo generation takes you back to what you had.

Review the result in the preview

When the generation finishes, the panel and the dialog close, the preview shows the new storefront and the message Storefront generated — review and publish. appears.

The generated storefront in the preview, with Undo generation in the top bar until you need it

The state reads Unpublished changes, and Undo generation appears in the top bar. In Layal’s case the AI chose Sadeem and a plum palette and wrote a new headline, while the hero photo, the tinted background, the buttons and the line above the headline stayed exactly as they were. Treat the result as a first draft and check it before you publish:

  • Read every line, in every language. Open the Content tab and switch the preview language to check each one. If a language’s translation did not come back, that language keeps its earlier text, which may no longer match. Translate to other languages fills only empty fields, so clear the fields you want translated again and then use it, or rewrite them yourself. Translate your storefront text
  • Check every promise. Make sure what the announcements and trust badges say about delivery, cash on delivery, returns and support is true for your store.
  • Light or dark. The AI can make any preset dark. If you want a light storefront, click the preset again in Theme preset: every preset except Onyx and Drop is light. This also puts back that preset’s colours, typeface, corners, shadows and density, and sets heading face and body face back to From typeface. Choose a theme, colours and fonts
  • Your own fonts. If you had picked your own heading face or body face, it stays, so the typeface the AI chose shows only where From typeface is set. Heading face and body face
  • Check a phone and a product page, with the device icons and Product.

Warning

AI writes confident sentences such as “Free delivery across Jordan” or “Easy returns”. Customers will hold you to them. Change any promise your store does not keep before you publish.

When you are happy, click Publish, or Save draft to finish later. Save a draft and publish your storefront

Undo generation

If the result is not what you wanted, put your previous design back:

  1. In the top bar, click Undo generation.
Undo puts back the colours, fonts, layout and text you had just before the generation

The message Your previous design is back. confirms it. Undo puts back exactly what was on screen when you clicked Generate with AI, edits you had not saved included, and the button disappears.

Undo goes back one step only, to before the last generation, and it is available only until you leave or reload the Studio. Switching between Design and Content keeps it. After that, change things back by hand.

The generation had already been saved as your draft. After you undo, click Save draft or Publish, so the draft we keep is your previous design again. If you close the tab without saving, the Studio opens on the generated design next time.

When generation fails

If a generation cannot be started or finished, a message in the corner says why, the dialog stays open with your description in it, and nothing in the Studio changes. A generation that started and then failed gives its credit back, and one refused before it started is never charged.

Nothing changed and the credit came back: the dialog keeps your description so you can try again

Credits, and plans without it

Each generation uses one credit from your plan’s monthly allowance of AI storefront generations: 20 on Growth and 100 on Business. Enterprise has no limit. The credit is taken when the generation starts, and given back if the generation fails, runs out of time or is lost. Undoing a generation does not give it back. Translating the generated text into your other languages is part of the generation and uses no AI translation credits.

When this month’s generations are used up, clicking Generate with AI in the dialog shows You have used all your AI storefront generations for this month. Nothing runs and nothing is charged, and the dialog keeps your description.

This month’s generations are used up: nothing runs until your allowance renews

Allowances renew on the first day of each month. You can see what is left on the Subscription page, in the Usage card. Credits cannot be bought from the console: if you need more, ask us. How AI credits work

On Free and Starter, Generate with AI carries a padlock, and pointing at it says Included from a higher plan. Clicking it shows which plan includes AI storefront generation and what that plan costs a month, with a See plans link to your Subscription page.

Below Growth the button is locked, and the message names the plan that includes it

Everything else in the Studio works on every plan, so you can still design your storefront by hand. Upgrade or change your plan

Next, fine-tune the colours and fonts the AI chose in Choose a theme, colours and fonts, or see how every control fits together in Get to know the Storefront Studio.
