See your plan, usage and billing

The Subscription page: your plan and what comes next, notices, the dinar estimate, this month’s usage, plan history, and your card and invoices.

Last updated

The Subscription page is where you see which plan your store is on, what happens next — a renewal, the end of a trial, a change you booked — what it costs, how much of the plan you have used this month, and where your card and invoices are. This article explains every part of it, top to bottom.

Open the Subscription page

In the side menu, under Administration, open Subscription. You can also open your Subscription page (opens in a new tab) directly.

The page opens on your plan, then your usage, then the plans you can move to.

From top to bottom, the page holds:

  1. Notices, only when something needs you: a payment that failed, a change booked for a later date, a plan that is ending. See Notices above your plan.
  2. Your plan — its name, its status, what happens next and its price.
  3. Usage — this month’s AI credits, and how much of your products, staff accounts and storage you use.
  4. Plans — every plan side by side, each with the button that moves you to it, and Compare every plan under them. See Upgrade or change your plan.
  5. Plan history — the plans your store has been on.
  6. Card and invoices — your billing email and the Manage billing button, once your store has been to Stripe’s payment page.
  7. Cancel subscription, in a card of its own, on a plan you pay by card. See Cancel your subscription.
The whole page of a store that pays by card, top to bottom. Each part is explained below.

The store owner can see and change the subscription. Other staff can do so only if their role includes View subscription (to see the page) or Manage subscription (to change the plan, open billing or cancel). Roles you build yourself are on Business and up. See Staff roles: what each one can see and do.

Your plan: status, what happens next, and price

The first card is your plan. On a plan you pay monthly by card it reads like this:

A paid monthly plan: the date of the next charge, and what it will be.

The badge beside the plan’s name says where your plan stands, and the line under it says what happens next:

BadgeThe line under itWhat it means
ActiveRenews on a date · the price and cycleYour card is charged on that date, and the plan carries on. With a move down booked, the price and cycle are the cheaper plan’s, which you pay from that date.

ContractArranged with our team · Paid until a dateA plan agreed with our team. Changes to it are made by our team.
No billingArranged with our teamA store our team runs without billing.

On the right of the card is the price you pay by card, in US dollars, with Monthly or Annual under it. Free shows No charge; a plan arranged with our team shows no price, because it is part of the agreement.

On a plan you pay once a year, the card shows the yearly price and the renewal a year on:

Annual billing: one charge a year, on the date shown. The plan cards open on Annual too.

The Plans card opens on the cycle you pay on, so the prices you compare are the ones you would really pay.

On the help store, Layal Boutique is on Enterprise, arranged with our team. Its card says Contract and offers Talk to us, which opens the Support page, because every change to such a plan is made by our team.

A plan arranged with our team: no card price, and changes go through us.

Notices above your plan

When something needs your attention, a notice appears above the plan card, with the button that deals with it:

While Stripe confirms a payment or a change

A few more notices appear only for a moment, while Stripe confirms what you did. Every button on the page waits while We are finishing a change… or Confirming your payment… shows.

  • We are finishing a change… while a change you made reaches Stripe. If there is still no answer after a minute, Check again appears beside it.
A change on its way to Stripe. The page waits for it, then shows the result.
  • Confirming your payment… when you come back from Stripe’s payment page.
Back from paying: the page waits for Stripe’s confirmation, and every button waits with it.
  • If the payment takes longer than a minute to confirm, the notice turns yellow: Stripe has not confirmed your payment yet. Your plan shows here as soon as it does., with Check again. Select it to ask Stripe again: your plan shows as soon as Stripe confirms. If it still has not after a few minutes, open a support ticket and tell us when you paid.
Stripe is slow to confirm. Check again asks once more.
  • Checkout was cancelled. Nothing was charged. when you leave Stripe’s payment page without paying.
You left Stripe’s page without paying: nothing was charged, and you can try again.

The same news in the bell and by email

Each billing event also reaches the bell at the top of the console, and most of them your billing email too. For example:

In the bellWhen
Your free trial ends in 3 days — we then charge … for …Three days before a trial ends.
Your … payment did not go through. Your store keeps every feature until …A renewal payment failed.

Select one in the bell to open the Subscription page. A booked move down, a kept subscription and a payment that went through after all are told in the bell only. See Keep up with notifications.

Charged in US dollars, with a dinar estimate

Plans are priced and charged in US dollars. Under the price, the card shows an estimate in Jordanian dinars, for example ≈ 24.81 JOD under $35.00. The estimate uses the fixed rate of 0.709 dinars to the dollar.

The line under the card says it plainly: Charged in USD. The dinar figure is an estimate for reference only. What reaches your bank statement is the dollar amount, converted by your bank, which may add its own currency fee.

Your store still sells in its own currency. Dollars are only for your NoqtaShop plan.

On the Free plan

On Free, the card is shorter: Free, the line No end date, and No charge on the right. There is nothing to renew or charge, and Free has no time limit.

On Free: no charge, no end date, and one line naming the AI tools the plan leaves out.

The usage card on Free shows your products, your one staff account and your storage. The AI tools are not on Free, so instead of meters you see one line: Not in your plan: followed by their names. In the side menu, Discount codes, Gift cards, Your domain and Card payments show a padlock. See Why does a feature show a padlock?

The paid plans’ cards offer Start 14-day free trial on Starter and Growth, if you have not had a free trial before, and Upgrade otherwise. See Upgrade or change your plan.

If your store moved to Free because a paid plan ended, a notice above the card says when and why, and what was switched off, for 30 days. See A payment failed.

Usage

The Usage card shows how much of your plan you are using. These are the same figures the console counts when it allows or refuses an action.

Each meter shows what you have used, what your plan allows, and what is left.
MeterWhat it countsResets?
AI photo enhancement, AI storefront generation, AI variant suggestions, AI category icons, AI translationAI credits used this month, out of your plan’s monthly allowanceYes, on the first of each month
ProductsEvery product in your store. Unlimited on every plan, so it shows Unlimited and No limit. No
Staff accountsThe staff accounts that can sign in, you included. A suspended account, or one a plan change paused, does not count. No
StorageThe photos, videos and files you have uploaded, in MB or GBNo

Each meter shows used of limit, a bar, and what is left, for example 11,350 of 12,000 and 650 left. A meter with no ceiling shows Unlimited and no bar.

Top right, AI credits reset on gives the date your AI allowances start again — always the first day of next month. Only the AI credits reset. Products, staff accounts and storage are room your plan gives you, not an allowance you spend, so they do not.

  • During a free trial, the top right reads Trial allowance · until the trial’s last day, and each AI meter shows the trial’s share of the monthly allowance: 14 days out of 30. See How AI credits work.
  • Credits from our team show beside the meter as +… from our team, as on AI photo enhancement above. They are spent once the month’s allowance is used up, and they do not reset. See How AI credits work.

On Enterprise, every meter reads Unlimited:

Enterprise: nothing is capped, and usage is still counted.

When you reach a limit

The meters warn you before you run out, as in the Growth picture above:

  • When you have used 80% of a limit, the figure left turns amber.
  • When a limit is used up, the bar turns orange and 0 left turns red.
  • A staff account limit of one — Free’s — is drawn without a warning, because using your one account is simply the plan.

When you reach a limit, nothing is deleted and nothing extra is charged. The console refuses the next action and says why:

LimitWhat you seeWhat to do
An AI allowanceYou have used all AI translation credits for this month., or the same words for another AI toolWait for the reset on the first of the month, move up a plan, or talk to us. See How AI credits work.
Staff accountsThis plan has reached its staff account limit.Suspend or remove a staff member you no longer need, or move up a plan. A suspended account frees its place.
StorageThis plan has reached its storage limit. Delete some files or upgrade to store more.Delete photos or files you no longer use, or move up a plan.

To compare what each plan allows, see Plans and what each includes.

Plan history

Plan history lists every plan your store has had, newest first. Each row shows the plan, the date it started and the date it ended (or ends), the plan’s price in US dollars, and how it stands: Current for the plan you are on, or why an earlier one ended.

Plan history, then your card and invoices, then Cancel subscription.
At the end of a rowWhat it means
CurrentThe plan you are on now.
CancelledYou cancelled, and it ended at the end of its period.
Ended after a failed paymentA renewal stayed unpaid for 7 days, so your store moved to Free.
Trial endedA free trial ended without becoming a paid plan.
ReplacedYou moved to another plan or cycle.
Contract endedA plan arranged with our team reached its paid-until date.
Moved to FreeYou moved your store to Free yourself.
Changed by our teamOur team changed the plan with you.
EndedThe plan ended without renewing, for another reason.

The amount reads Free on a Free row, and Priced on request on a plan arranged with our team. A Free row you are still on ends on No end date; one you have moved up from shows the day it ended, as in the picture.

Plan history is a record of your plans, not your invoices: your invoices and receipts are under Manage billing.

Card and invoices

Once your store has been to Stripe’s payment page — to pay for a plan, or to start a free trial — the page has a Card and invoices card. It stays there after a plan ends, so your past invoices are always within reach.

Change where billing emails go

Billing emails go to an address: where we send receipts, failed-payment emails and other billing notices. Stripe’s billing page uses the same address.

  1. In Card and invoices, select Edit. The line becomes a Billing email box.
  2. Type the new address, for example the address your accountant reads.
  3. Select Save, or press Enter. Billing email saved. appears. Select Cancel to keep the old address.
One address for every receipt and billing email. Save stays grey while the box is empty.

Save stays grey while the box is empty. An address that is not a real email address is refused with Enter a valid email address for your billing emails.

Manage billing: your card and invoices on Stripe

Manage billing opens Stripe’s billing page for your store, in the same tab. Stripe is the company that takes payment for your NoqtaShop plan.

On Stripe’s page you can:

  1. Update the card your plan is charged to.
  2. Open an invoice or a receipt, and download it.
  3. Use Stripe’s link back to return to your Subscription page.

Changing your plan and cancelling are done on the Subscription page itself, not on Stripe’s page. Stripe’s page has no Arabic: an Arabic store sees it in a language your browser accepts, usually English.

A store that has never been to Stripe’s payment page — on Free since sign-up, or on a plan arranged with our team — has no card and no invoices, so the card is not shown.

If the page does not load

If the page cannot load, it says Could not load your subscription. with a Try again button.

Nothing could be read. Try again reloads the whole page.
  1. Select Try again.
  2. If it still does not load, check your connection and reload the browser tab.
  3. If you are not the store owner, your role may not include View subscription. The page then cannot load for you: ask the owner.
