NoqtaShop gives merchants in Jordan an online store: a storefront your customers buy from, and a console where you run it. This article explains what you get, how your customers pay you and what we charge, and answers the questions merchants ask us most before they sign up.
What you get: a storefront, a checkout and a console
Every NoqtaShop store has three parts.
Your storefront is the website your customers visit, at yourname.noqtashop.com — or at your own domain, from Starter. It has your products and categories, a search, a cart and customer accounts. You design it in Storefront Studio, which shows your real storefront while you edit: choose a theme, colours and fonts, write your text, check how it looks on a phone, and publish when you are ready. No developer or designer is needed.
Your checkout takes the order: the delivery address, the shipping cost for the customer’s area, and the payment method — cash on delivery, or a card from Growth. Customers can check out as guests or with an account. If you untick Allow guest checkout in Settings, they are asked to sign in before they check out, and signing in brings them straight back to checkout.
Your console is where you and your staff run the store. Its sidebar groups everything by job: Selling (orders, products, customers, discount codes, gift cards), Marketing, Storefront (design, content, policy pages, FAQ, Journal), Operations (shipping rates and delivery providers) and Administration (staff, subscription and settings). The first page, Dashboard, shows your sales at a glance and, while your store is new, a setup list that takes you step by step to your first publish.
Every order lands in Orders, where you confirm it, prepare it, hand it to a delivery provider and record the cash when it is collected. Your catalogue lives in Products: photos, prices, variants such as size and colour, and stock.
To find your way around, see Find your way around the console.
Your store’s language runs all the way through
Your storefront sells in Arabic, English or French — or in more than one of them. The Free plan sells in one language (Arabic or English), Starter in two (Arabic and English), and Growth and up add French.
Whichever language you choose, it runs through the whole store, not just the shop window:
- An Arabic storefront is built right to left, not mirrored from an English one.
- Checkout, the order emails your customers receive and their invoices follow your store’s language.
- The storefront search understands how people actually type Arabic, synonyms included.
- In a store with two languages, each product, page and email has a version in each, and your customers switch between them.
The console itself works in English, Arabic and French on every plan, whatever your storefront sells in. See Set your store’s languages and currency.
How customers pay you
Cash on delivery works on every plan, Free included, from the day you open. Your delivery provider collects the cash, and you record it in the console.
Card payments online start on Growth. They run through HyperPay, using your own HyperPay account, so the money goes from your customer to your bank without passing through us. Without card payments switched on, your checkout takes cash on delivery.
How the money reaches you, step by step: How customers pay you.
What we charge: a monthly plan, never a commission
You pay us a fixed subscription — monthly or yearly — and never a share of your sales. There is no commission and no fee per order, on any plan. Your payment provider charges its own processing fee on card payments; that fee is between you and them.
| Plan | Price | In short |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, no card | Cash on delivery, one storefront language |
| Starter | $19 a month | Your own domain, discount codes, two languages, sales figures |
| Growth | $35 a month | Card payments, gift cards, French, the full set of AI tools |
| Business | $79 a month | Unlimited staff with roles and permissions, priority support |
| Enterprise | By agreement | Set up with our team |
Starter and Growth begin with a 14-day free trial. Plans are billed in US dollars, with a dinar estimate beside each price. Everything each plan includes: Plans and what each includes.
Do I need a registered company?
No. Cash on delivery needs no company and no card of your own, on any plan, so you can open your store and take your first order today.
Card payments are HyperPay’s decision, not ours. HyperPay and its bank usually ask for a commercial registration, a tax number and a business bank account before they open an account for you. See Connect HyperPay for card payments.
Can I still take orders on WhatsApp?
Yes. Your storefront can show a WhatsApp button, so customers keep messaging you as they do now. Turn it on in Storefront Studio: on the Design tab, open Footer and switch on WhatsApp button. Add your number in WhatsApp number, or leave it blank to use your store’s contact phone. You can type a Jordanian number the way you dial it, such as 0791234567: it is saved with the +962 country code.
The order itself is placed at your checkout, so it lands in your Orders list with the customer’s address and items, instead of scrolling away in a chat. See Set up your footer and WhatsApp button.
Can I charge a different delivery fee for Amman?
Yes. You build shipping zones down to individual cities — for example one zone for Amman and one for the other governorates — and give each zone its own rate. A rate can also offer free shipping above an order amount you choose, and show customers how many days delivery takes. Your customer sees the fee for their area at checkout. See Set up shipping zones by area and Add shipping rates and free shipping.
Can I sell outside Jordan?
Yes. A shipping zone can cover any country you deliver to, each with its own rates. Your store sells in the currency set under Settings › Localization › Currency. Sign-up does not ask for one: a new store starts in Jordanian dinars (JOD). To sell in another currency, change it there before you add prices: see Currency. Cash on delivery works wherever you deliver. Which cards and countries card payments cover is up to your payment provider.
Who owns my products and customer list?
You do. Nothing you put into your store becomes ours, and we never sell your customers’ data or use it to advertise to them. From Starter, you can download your products and your orders as spreadsheet (CSV) files any day you like — including the day you leave. See Import or export products with a CSV file.
What happens to my store if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. If a card payment fails, your store stays fully open for 7 days while Stripe tries the card again and you update it. If it is still unpaid then, your store moves to the Free plan by itself, and the same happens at the end of the period you have paid for when you cancel. Your storefront stays open on Free, which has no time limit; what Free does not include — card payments, extra storefront languages, extra staff accounts and your own domain — is switched off until you move up again. Your products, orders and customers stay exactly where they are. See A payment failed, or your store is locked.
