Find any product in your list quickly: search for it, narrow the list by status, category, brand, price and stock, sort it, read the filter chips and look at a product without opening it.
The products list and its columns
- In the sidebar, open Products and select Products under it, or open your products list (opens in a new tab).
The page opens on every product in your store, newest first. Above the list are the search box, the status tabs and Filters. At the top right are Export CSV, Import CSV and Add product.
Export CSV, Import CSV and the bulk actions are on Starter and up; on Free they show a padlock. See plans and what each includes.
Each row is one product:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| The tick box | Selects the product for a bulk action (Starter and up). See change many products at once. |
| The photo | The product’s main photo, or a picture icon if it has none. Select it to preview the product. |
| Product | The product’s name, and its link under it. Select the name to open the product. |
| Category | Where the product sits, as a path such as Women › Dresses, or No category. A long path is shortened with …. |
| Status | Draft, Active or Archived. The badge is also a menu for changing the status — see publish, archive or delete a product. |
| Price | The price, without the currency. A product whose variants cost different amounts shows a range, such as 34.000 – 39.000. — means no variant has a price. |
| Stock | The total stock across all the product’s variants. Low stock in amber means the total is at or below your low-stock threshold; Out of stock in red means it is zero. |
| The buttons | Edit (the pencil) opens the product, Duplicate makes a copy, and Delete deletes it after asking you. |
Names and links show in the console’s language when the product has a translation in it. Otherwise you see the name in your store’s main language.
The low-stock threshold is a store setting; a new store starts at 5. See set your fulfilment SLA and stock alerts.
On a phone, the Category, Price and Stock columns are hidden. The product’s category, price and stock show under its name instead.
The status tabs: All, Draft, Active and Archived
The tabs next to the search box show products by status:
| Tab | What it lists |
|---|---|
| All | Every product, whatever its status. The list opens here. |
| Draft | Products you are still preparing. Customers do not see them. |
| Active | Products on sale on your storefront. |
| Archived | Products you have taken off sale but kept. Customers do not see them. |
- Select a tab. The list reloads from its first page.
Your search and filters stay as they are when you change tabs, so you can search linen and then select Draft to see only the linen products that are not on sale yet.
Search by name
- Type in Search products… above the list.
The list updates as you type, a moment after you stop, and goes back to its first page. For example, Layal Boutique typing linen finds the linen trousers, shirts and dresses.
What the search looks at:
- The name, description and brand, in your store’s main language. Part of a word is enough, and capitals do not matter: lin finds Linen.
- Their translations too, when you type three letters or more. So كتان finds Layal’s linen pieces by their Arabic names.
- Your search synonyms. When everything you type is exactly a synonym term, the list also shows products matching its synonyms. It works one way, from the term to its synonyms — see add search synonyms.
Because the description counts, a search can bring up a product whose name does not contain the word, like the sunglasses above.
The search does not look at SKUs, categories, or options such as size and colour. To find products in one category, use Filters. To start again, delete what you typed.
The console search does not guess at typos: check the spelling if nothing comes up.
Sort by name, price or stock
The list starts with the newest products first. Three column headings sort it instead: Product, Price and Stock. The arrows next to each show the order.
- Select a heading once to sort from lowest to highest — A to Z for Product. The arrow points up.
- Select it again to reverse the order. The arrow points down.
| Heading | Sorts by |
|---|---|
| Product | The product’s name in your store’s main language, even when the list shows translated names |
| Price | The lowest price among the product’s variants |
| Stock | The total stock across the product’s variants — sort lowest first to see what needs restocking |
Sorting takes you back to the first page. On a phone, only Product is shown, so you can sort by name only. Clear (after the chips, or in the Filters panel) puts the list back to newest first and removes the filters too.
Filter by category, brand, price and stock
- Select Filters, at the end of the bar with the search box. The Advanced filters panel opens.
- Fill in the filters you want. You can use one or several; a product must match all of them.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Category | Shows the products in the category you choose. Open the list, type in Search categories… to narrow it, and select one. No category means the filter is off. |
| Brand | Shows the products with exactly this brand. Type it as it is written on your products in your store’s main language, capitals included: Layal finds Layal, layal does not. |
| Minimum price | Shows products with at least one variant at or above this price. |
| Maximum price | Shows products with at least one variant at or below this price. |
| Stock | Any stock (no filter), In stock (total stock above zero), Low stock (above zero and at or below your low-stock threshold) or Out of stock (zero). |
Choose the category your products are in, such as Dresses. A parent category such as Women shows only products placed in Women itself — not the ones in Dresses or the other categories under it.
Prices are in your store’s currency and can have decimals. Leave a box empty to set no limit on that side.
With both a minimum and a maximum, a product shows when one variant is at or above the minimum and one is at or below the maximum. They need not be the same variant: a product with variants at 30 and 80 shows for a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 50.
- Select Apply. In Brand or a price box, pressing Enter does the same.
The panel closes and the list shows only the matching products, from its first page. If you close the panel another way — with its ×, or by selecting somewhere else — your choices stay in the panel, and their chips show above the list. They are applied the next time the list reloads: when you search, change tab, sort, change page or remove a chip. Open Filters and select Apply or Clear, so the list shows what you meant.
Tip
To find what needs reordering, select Low stock under Stock, select Apply, then sort by Stock so the lowest comes first.
Filter chips, and Clear
Each filter you set shows as a chip above the list, such as Category: Women > Dresses, Maximum price: 50 and Stock: In stock. A minimum and a maximum price together show as one chip, such as Price: 20-50.
- Select a chip, or the × on it, to remove that one filter. The list updates at once.
- Select Clear after the chips to remove them all. Clear in the panel does the same.
Clear also puts the sort back to newest first. It does not empty the search box or change the status tab: if the list still looks short, check both.
Preview a product from the list
- Select a product’s photo, at the start of its row.
A Preview window opens without leaving the list. It shows the product’s main photo, its brand, name and price, its link, and two tags: Category and Stock quantity.
Stock quantity reads the same as the Stock column — a number, Low stock or Out of stock. When a product has no brand, the word Brand shows in its place.
- Close the window with the × at the top, by pressing Esc, or by selecting anywhere outside it.
The preview is for looking only. To change the product, select its name in the list.
Moving between pages
The list shows 20 products to a page. When there are more, the foot of the list shows Previous, the page you are on and the number of products that match — for example Page 1 of 3 (44) — and Next.
- Select Next or Previous. Previous is greyed out on the first page and Next on the last.
Changing the search, a tab, a filter or the sort always takes you back to page 1. Products you ticked on one page are unticked when you move to another, so a bulk action only covers the products on the page you can see.
When the list is empty or does not load
No products found. with an Add product button means nothing matches what you are looking at.
- In a new store, there are no products yet: select Add product, or, on Starter and up, bring your catalogue in with Import CSV — see import or export products with a CSV file.
- In a store with products, a search, a tab or a filter is hiding them. Delete the search, select All and select Clear.
Could not load data. with Try again means the list could not be fetched.
- Select Try again.
If it keeps failing, check your internet connection and refresh the page. If the list still does not load, open a support ticket.
